The story beneath the name

What does From The Mud mean?

To emerge from a dark or stagnant place where you have felt stuck or unseen, move through resistance, and create something beautiful.

Authenticity

Finding your way back to yourself.

02

Resiliency

Learning how to respond, adapt, and keep moving.

03

Transformation

Creating space for a preferred way of living.

Mission & Vision

What guides the work.

01

Mission

We provide neurodivergence-affirming, plant-based psychotherapy and coaching for adults with ADHD and autism who want their values and their brain wiring reflected in their care. We combine licensed clinical rigor with lived neurodivergent experience, peer-reviewed nutrition-for-mental-health integration, mindfulness based and trauma-informed frameworks, delivered through structured protocols that respect executive function and build one brick at a time.

02

Vision

A world where neurodivergent, plant-based adults never have to translate their brains or their values to get clinically sound mental health care, where growing through the mud is celebrated as the nutrient it is, and where every neurospicy human has access to support that honors exactly who they are.

Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation.

Mind, brain, body, food, movement, sleep, creativity, nature, community, and mindfulness may all be part of a broader conversation about well-being. Wellness education is distinct from psychotherapy and medical treatment.

A few good questions

Start with what you’re wondering.

What is the difference between psychotherapy and coaching?

Psychotherapy is clinical mental health treatment provided by a licensed professional. Coaching is non-clinical, structured support for planning, goals, executive functioning, and life changes. Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical care.

Who can benefit from your services?

Caitlin works with adults navigating concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, trauma responses, mood and emotional well-being, executive functioning, grief, self-esteem, and life transitions. You do not need to be neurodivergent, vegan, or plant-based to feel welcome here.

How long does therapy take?

There is no universal timeline. Therapy is shaped by your needs, goals, history, pace, and circumstances. A consultation is a place to talk about what support could look like without promising a particular outcome.

Do you accept insurance?

Insurance may be accepted depending on your plan. Because network participation and benefits can change, use the insurance verification link to confirm your current coverage.
